Granada Day Trip by High Speed Train
The tour will start at the Puerta de Atocha train station, in Madrid. At 7:35 am your high speed train will leave for Granada, arriving at 10:59 am.
During your day in Granada, you don't want to miss the incredible panoramic views of the Alhambra from the San Cristobal and San Nicolas viewpoints. Nearby, you can wander through the charming Albaicin quarter. You can also take the opportunity to visit the Granada Cathedral, one of the greatest examples of the Spanish Renaissance, located next to one of the best areas for tapas.
In the afternoon, you must make your own way to the train station in Granada. At 7:18 pm your high-speed train will arrive in Madrid at approximately 10:32 pm.
Granada tourist train
In order to make your visit to Granada as enjoyable as possible, we'll provide you with a 24-hour ticket for the tourist train that connects the city centre with the Albaicin quarter and the Alhambra. You can get on and off as many times as you wish at the 14 stops along the green line (day route). The frequency of these trains is 15 - 20 minutes.
On the train, you'll have an English audio guide with recorded comments about the monuments. The whole journey takes 90 minutes.
