Portia & Marqués de Cáceres Winery Tour

At the indicated time we'll meet at Calle Julio Camba in Madrid. There we'll board a minibus and head for two of Spain's most important wine regions, Rioja and Ribera del Duero.

First, we'll head for the province of Burgos, admiring the landscapes of the Meseta Central while we tell you curiosities about vine cultivation. Of course, you'll also learn all about the wine culture in Spain, a great tradition passed down from generation to generation.

When we arrive at the Bodegas Portia, we'll enter the facilities of the winery to discover the characteristics of this wine with the Denomination of Origin (D.O.) Ribera del Duero, as well as the excellent quality it has acquired over time.

We'll learn all about the production of their wines, from the cultivation of the vines to the bottling process. It'll be a very interesting visit! While we're there, we'll also take a look at the architecture of the winery, designed by Norman Foster, and participate in a wine tasting accompanied by appetizers.

Afterward, you'll have free time for lunch at a nearby restaurant. With our batteries recharged, we'll head to our next destination. In this case, we'll make our way to La Rioja, a trip that will allow you to witness the changes in the landscape, a major facet of the wine production of this area.

Arriving at Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres, which has over 150 years of history, we'll review the particularities of the wines with the Rioja Denomination of Origin. Did you know that Marqués de Cáceres is one of the most prestigious brands in the world? We'll soon see why! To finish, we'll have a wine tasting paired with typical appetizers of the region.

Finally, we'll return to Madrid and end the tour at the meeting point after about 14 hours of excursion.
