The hearing devices on this tour are awful - they pick up all the background noise in the museum that you can't hear anything. Priority was also given to the Spanish speakers. The length of the English descriptions was much shorter. I tried to get a partial refund from the tour operator and they denied receiving any complaints on the matter despite the fact that a group of participants raised this issue with the guide on the actual tour. I would save your money and pick another provider.

This tour was fabulous. Simply brilliant. At the Prado, our guide was Macarena; an engaging and very knowledgeable young woman. We learnt so much about a wide range of significant paintings from Spain’s best artists. For the second part of the tour at Reina Sofia, our guide was Helena. She handled the bilingual group with aplomb. Both Helena and Macarena made our museum visits wonderful, and a highlight of our time in Madrid. We happily recommend this tour to anyone.

A most interesting and enjoyable tour. Our guide Khan was very informative and explained in just enough detail all the facts about each painting that the group needed to know. I normally do these kind of things by myself, but after this experience I will certainly book a guided tour in future. I totally recommend booking with Civitatis. I give them a 5 star rating.
