The Historical Walking tour of Madrid de los Austrias was amazing. A wealth of information. Walking was at a nice pace and not too much. Our guide Ainhoa was courteous, flexible, smart and extremely fabulous!! I would highly recommend this walking tour.

Our tour was excellent and our guide spoke English very well! Our female guide ( not sure of her name but sounds like” I know a”) was most knowledgeable and very helpful. She led an excellent and very informative tour. Because it was such a warm day, she took that into account, finding shade when possible and walking in short bursts! It was the best walking tour I have ever been on! She was also very affable and answered everyone’s questions very well. She made it fun!

Highly recommended. A tour through the city's history exploring the historic center of Madrid. Many anecdotes are provided by the excellent guide who in addition to being a passionate resident of the city is a very friendly, trustworthy person and speaks FRENCH. Nice tour to orient yourself with Madrid. Big plus: showing a map outlining the walking tour. Helps when you are new to a city and want to find a neighborhood/ restaurant/ shopping street later. Recommendation to guide: You speak at times too fast. It sounded like you are reading a script which is not true and you are genuinely knowledgeable. People come from different countries & may not understand the accent. I recommend practice public speaking & hope you take it in positive way.

Mel met us and took on the most amazing tour of Madrid. He was engaging, entertaining, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He had a vast knowledge of Madrid. It’s history and it’s peoples.. He had many amusing anecdotes and kept our diverse audience group captivated throughout throughout the almost 3 hour walking tour. The fact that this was advertised as a free tour, certainly got us hooked on taking it, and hopefully he was amply rewarded for his wonderful efforts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this!!!

Great fun especially as we stopped after 1,5hrs and managed to squeeze a beer and tapas in. Our guide was very knowledgeable but spoke fast however happily repeated himself when asked. Our English tour ended up being a mixture of English and Spanish which added flavour.

I don’t know the name anymore from our female guide from origine from Valladoid but she was fantastic. Would love to have her again as guide. She did a fantastic job. I like the system to give a free tip and we have her 15 € a person and she was more then worth the money! Bravo!!!

We had a walking tour of Madrid. Our guide was excellent. Her English was excellent. She was knowledgeable and kind and kept a great pace. We wound up tipping her as much as we would have paid any other guide as she was even better than some of the more expensive guided tours.
