On this wine and culture tour, we'll enjoy the delicious wines of the Ribera del Duero and see the beautiful landscapes of the province of Burgos.
Ribera del Duero Wine Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the door of La Gloria cafe, in the center of Madrid, from where we'll depart for Castilla y León by bus. Here, we'll visit the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, one of the most important wine regions in Spain.
On this tour, we'll visit 3 wineries, where we'll learn about the whole wine production process, from the care of the vines in the vineyards to the aging process in the barrels of the cellars.
At the wineries, we'll learn to identify the smells, flavors, and characteristics of the exquisite Ribera del Duero wines with a wine tasting, which will be accompanied by typical cheeses and cured meats.
Afterward, we'll have 45 minutes of free time to have lunch at our own leisure in a traditional restaurant, and sample the delicious Castilian cuisine.
Lastly, we'll head back to the departure point in Madrid, arriving after a total of about 11 hours.
