On this wineries tour in the Tagus Valley, we'll head to the south of Madrid in search of the best wines of the region. We'll visit three wineries and sample wines in all three of them.
Tagus Valley Wineries Tour
At 9.15 am, we'll meet at the Paseo de la Infanta Isabel in Madrid. Once we get there, we'll board a bus that'll take us to visit some of the most important wineries in the Tagus Valley. Wine lovers, are you excited?
After a 45-minute ride, we'll stop at the first of the wineries we will visit. There, we'll be welcomed by their owners and winemakers to show us the winemaking process in the region, learning its unique characteristics. For this, we'll enjoy a tasting of two wines accompanied by an appetizer consisting of cheese, Iberian products, and olive oil.
We'll continue the tour by visiting the second winery. Here, we'll see its interior and its vineyards and we'll taste again two types of wine. Lastly, in the third winery, we'll enjoy a guided tour of its facilities - the perfect way to learn how to differentiate the ways of winemaking!
Following the tasting at the last winery, we'll head back to the starting point, arriving at approximately 3.30 pm.
Which wineries are we going to visit?
Depending on availability and the date, we'll visit three different wineries. However, the usual wineries visited are Bodegas Peral, del Nero, Jesus Diaz, and Andres Morate. There, we'll enjoy wine tastings with appetizers.
