What makes this museum so special?
The Prado Museum has a collection of over 7.600 paintings and 1.000 paintings with masterpieces of various Spanish and European artists. Some of the most renowned artists include Velázquez, El Greco, Rubens, El Bosco or Goya.
The Prado Museum houses among other masterpieces: “Las Meninas” by Velázquez, “The Garden of Earthly Delights” by Bosche, “The Three Graces” by Rubens and “The Nude Maja” by Goya.
Our entrance ticket includes access to the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions.
- Even though you have to choose a date when you book this activity, the ticket is open-ended.
- The entrance to the Prado is free Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 8pm. On Sundays the museum is free from 5pm to 7pm. It is also free on the following bank holidays: 19 November (anniversary of the Prado) and on the 18 May (International Museum Day). Members of large families (one adult and three children of the same family) only pay 7.50€ per ticket.
- The Prado Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm. It opens from 10 am – 7 pm on Sundays and public holidays.
